Carl and Wayne are two insurance scam-artists working for their firm, Markland Industries. Their business specialty is helping their clients in need of cash, stage potentially hazardous accidents. These accidents purposefully cause severe injury disabling individuals enough to cash in on their insurance; thus landing them a great sum of money! With a “Bible” full of proven accident methods, both Carl and Wayne help a client stage an accident at his construction site. When the accident becomes more lethal than Carl anticipated he questions his partnership with Wayne but agrees to remain in the business.
As they come up with new ideas for their “Bible”, Carl finds himself involved in an accident that leaves him a paraplegic. During his recovery time, he is surprised when a life insurance policy comes in the mail. This policy states that a huge sum of money be redeemed in the case of a partner dieing. Carl suddenly realizes that Wayne is setting him up! The drama of life begins as Carl and Wayne set out to do the other in, one or the other benefiting from what their business is all about, fraudulent use of Life Insurance Policies!
